The recent mobility activity of our project, "Act Eco Locally to Change into Eco Globally," which took place in Greece from March 11th to 15th, 2024, was highlighted in the popular monthly magazine "Çalıkuşu81". This magazine is widely circulated across the country, including dissemination to all Provincial Directorates of National Education.

In the article, the joint efforts of Akçakoca Atatürk Middle School’s students and teachers, led by Efsane Akar and Merve Karabuga, were celebrated for their participation in this eco-friendly initiative. During their visit to Karditsa, Greece, our students had the opportunity to meet their peers from local schools and collaborate on important ecological topics. They worked on workshops related to ecological footprints, comparing local and global environmental impacts, and learned about the significance of personal decisions in protecting the environment.

The interactive experiences at the Mouzaki Environmental Centre provided our students with the tools to reflect on environmental challenges and sustainable practices. They returned home with a deeper understanding of practical methods to protect nature, ensuring that these lessons will contribute to their ongoing commitment to eco-friendly actions.

Our students had the privilege of working alongside peers not only from Greece but also from Croatia, Romania, Poland, and Portugal. This multicultural exchange fostered a unique opportunity for cross-border collaboration on environmental sustainability topics.

We are proud that our project continues to receive national attention, inspiring others across the country to engage in meaningful action toward global ecological change.
