Representatives of the II. gimnazija, Croatia demonstrated their commitment to environmental conservation by participating in the largest ecological waste cleanup action in celebration of Earth Day. This action is part of the project "Rezolucija Zemlja" initiated by Večernji list, gathering numerous volunteers and citizens eager to contribute to nature preservation, taking place across our beautiful country.
The II. gimnazija participated in the cleanup action held in Sesvetski Kraljevec on April 20, 2024, co-organized by the Zelene i plave Sesvete Association.
Throughout the action, volunteers diligently worked to remove various types of waste, including plastic, glass, construction materials and different cables. Upon the completion of the action, the organizers expressed gratitude to all participants for their effort and engagement, emphasizing the importance of ongoing efforts in environmental conservation.
"Rezolucija Zemlja" is not just a one-day action but a reminder of our enduring commitment to preserving our planet for future generations.
By participating in this action, once again, we have shown how dedicated we are at the II. gimnazija to raise awareness about the importance of nature conservation and ecological consciousness, not only among our students but also within the local community.
