“Act eco-locally to change into eco-globally” New European program Erasmus+ of the 5th Karditsa High School.
The 5th High School of Karditsa within the framework of the European Erasmus+ program was selected to participate as a partner in the Basic Action KA2 ("Cooperative Partnerships" in the School Education Sector). The title of the program is “ Act eco-locally to change into eco-globally ” ("AECE ”), the code of 2023-1-PL01-KA220-SCH-000151657 and its duration is two years (200 – 2025). Schools from six countries are participating in the partnership. The project coordinator is the Zespol Szkol Technicznych w Plocku school in Poland. The other program partners in addition to the 5th High School of Carditsa are schools from Portugal, Turkey, Romania and Croatia.
The project focuses on the basic skills that are necessary in the 21st century and modern environmental issues. There is an urgent need to arm students with ecological, consumer habits and ecological skills to prepare them to become more consumer-conscious, more active and more eco-oriented European citizens.
